JUPITER is a Japanese visual kei symphonic metal band, formed in 2013 by four of the five members of Versailles. After several personnel changes, guitarists HIZAKI and TERU remain the only original members, with drummer DAISUKE and vocalist KUZE completing the current lineup.
『Zeus ~Legends Never Die~ 』is JUPITER's third full-length studio album, and perhaps the band's best effort to date. After a tumultuous 2018, the band regrouped around the two remaining founding members, guitarists HIZAKI and TERU, with new blood infusions: the addition of ex-Concerto Moon vocalist KUZE and drummer DAISUKE (ex-Roach), whom joined the outfit in 2017. The bass player position remaining available. The music on the new release remains strongly anchored in the band's familiar symphonic metal roots, but evolving with clear influences from progressive metal and even a solid dose of melodic death metal. 『Zeus ~Legends Never Die~ 』offers thirteen high octane, beautifully composed tracks, spanning over the 63 minutes long album.
