For what we're calling Modern Metal is an amalgam of newer trends, blend with a more traditional vibe, but always melodic due in large to the music's Pop sensibilities. All these crossovers grew in recent years into a distinct genre, which is subsequently evolving by incorporating further influences and elements not necessarily associated with metal music.
